Latest updates

We improve InvitatiOnline every week, based on your feedback.

  1. Improvement

Redesigned pages: Templates, Pricing, Album and How it works

The template catalog now has style filters, sorting and “Most popular”, right on the page. Pricing is explained in three options (Standard, Premium, Premium+), and the photo album and “How it works” pages are shorter and clearer.

  2. New

40 new templates for weddings and civil ceremonies

20 new wedding templates (chapel, ballroom, beach, boho arch, roses) and 20 for civil ceremonies (rings, tulips, peonies, minimal eucalyptus, champagne toast), all with real photos. You will find them first in the What's New tab, in the editor and on /invitatii.

  3. Fix

Fix: iPhone photos (HEIC) now show up in your invitation on any phone

HEIC photos (the iPhone default) uploaded in the editor did not show on Android, Chrome or Windows — guests saw an empty box. They are now converted to JPEG automatically on upload (and downsized if too large), so they display correctly on every device.

  4. New

/invitatii — new "Scroll" tab in every template preview

Alongside "Page" and "Slide-show", previewing any template in the /invitatii catalog now also has a Scroll tab, showing exactly how that template looks in "cinematic scroll" presentation style.

  5. New

New: automatic content check for the "Our story" photo gallery

Photos added to the story gallery in Step 4 now go through an automatic content filter before publishing, plus a clear 8-photo limit — enforced on the server too, not just in the interface.

  6. Improvement

"Personal details" (Step 4), reorganized into 3 sections: People, Godparents, Story

The bride/groom (or godparents/child, depending on type) names and photos, the godparents, and the story (invitation text, message, photo gallery) are now grouped into three separate sections that open on demand — the step reads shorter and is easier to get through.

  7. Improvement

Editor reorganized into collapsible sections — less scrolling, real previews

In Step 2, the opening animation now has a real video preview (not a graphic approximation) and is tucked under a summary, same as the font picker; in Step 6, background music and animation are grouped under one button, and in Step 7, photo album/video invitation/3D book are grouped under "Optional extras". The step progress bar at the top was redesigned — bigger text, an animated circle, a progress line between steps. The "Preview the full invitation" button was redesigned too.

  8. New

New: 2 new countdown styles — Hexagon, Elegant Frame

Alongside Rings, Gold Cards, Minimalist and Flip Clock, the event countdown now has two new styles: Hexagon (digits framed in gold hexagons) and Elegant Frame (large digits with decorative gold corners, vintage style). The countdown panel is now collapsed under a summary with a real preview — tap "Change style" to see every option.

  9. New

New: 4 new effects for the "RSVP" button — animated shine, pulse, gold outline, glass

Alongside the 4 existing colors (gold, powder pink, emerald, navy), you can now pick four new visual effects for the main button in the RSVP form: an animated gold shine that periodically sweeps across the button, a subtle pulse, a gold outline (transparent background) or a glass (frosted) look. Pick it from Step 6, under "RSVP button style".

  10. New

New: 4 new background animations — Snowflakes, Gold sparkles, Balloons, Hearts

Alongside stars, petals and confetti, the "Background animation" panel (Step 6) now has four new options, each with an animated mini-preview: snowflakes (suited for a winter event), gold sparkles (a premium feel), balloons and hearts floating discreetly behind the invitation.

  11. New

New: 3 AI-generated video opening animations — Book, Ribbon, Rose

Three new realistic AI-filmed animations join the existing styles (envelope, wax seal, curtain, surprise box, folded letter): a book that opens on its own, a satin ribbon that unties, and a rose that blooms, each revealing warm light at the end. Ribbon is now the default style for any new invitation. Choosing the opening animation and the presentation style moved from Step 7 straight to Step 2, right after picking the template.

  12. New

New: "Cinematic scroll" — a new way to experience the invitation, for any event type

Alongside the classic slide carousel, any invitation can now run in cinematic scroll style: guests scroll through the story at their own pace, with a fixed background, smooth crossfade transitions and a subtle parallax effect. Event cards were redesigned — larger photo, Maps/Waze button, an airy, premium look. Backgrounds can mix your own photos with 6 predefined face-free safe backgrounds (chosen explicitly or used as an automatic fallback) and short predefined rotating videos — all picked from Step 2, under "Presentation style".
